Term 4 Week 6
There has arisen from its narrow limits
My self and finds itself
As revelation of all worlds
Within the sway of time and space;
The world, as archetype divine,
Displays to me at every turn
The truth of my own likeness.

What a fantastic Spring Fair we had!
Thanks to EVERYONE who helped out and a BIG MASSIVE thanks to Julie Tisdale for the endless hours she spent pulling it all together for us. Stay tuned for some fantastic photos of the day.
And from Sujeeva…
Another fabulous spring fair from where I stood in the kitchen…made even more so by the wonderful volunteers we had on deck at Café Waldorf – thanks to each of you for the chopping, cleaning, stirring, serving and spruiking that made it all hum.
As this was my last year co-ordinating the Spring Fair Catering – I urge you to please step forward with your fresh ideas and enthusiasm to continue the tradition of deliciousness at our Fair. I thought as a gift I’d share a Spring Fair recipe that’s oft on our home menu as its super easy and delicious…dhal! (sorry you will have to wait another year for the lovely Sarah Hines to divulge the recipe for her awesome gado gado 🙂
After School Care now at CSSK !
We are happy to advise that the After School Care is commencing at CSSK, run by one of our own parents! So grateful to have you on board Kimmy !
If you would like to enquire about booking your child into the service please contact www.castlemainechildcare.com.au for enrolment procedures. The service is not currently able to include Kindergarten children. It will run from 3.10 (with pick up from Prep) to 6.15pm each day.
Fantastic news for CSSK !
If anyone has any spare Lego at home that they would like to donate to the program, please pop in and have a chat with Kimmy. Thank-you
Dear Playgroup Families,
If you are not planning on continuing in Playgroup next year please come by the office and speak to Tracey. All current families will be rolled over with the same day details as what we currently have and you will be invoiced in January. To avoid any errors with our billing please let us know if you are not planning on coming to Playgroup next year.
Also – please be aware that participation in Playgroup DOES NOT guarantee entry into the Kindergarten program. If you wish to register for a Kindergarten place please come speak with me ASAP.
As the end of the year fast approaches we are looking ahead to the work we will begin in the holidays. If you are a current family at the school and you need a Kindergarten place in 2021 and haven’t already submitted an Expression of Interest form….please do so as soon as possible.
Once again we are looking at a very long list of families wanting a place in our Early Childhood program and we don’t want to disappoint anyone.
For places in Kindergarten in any other years, it is best to get your paperwork in ASAP.
Class 2 News
The children are creating many mazes and working with the four mathematical processes.
Recently the music team have been visiting us and taking the children in small groups to try out the stringed instruments. Forms went home yesterday requesting your child’s choices, and we will need these back by the end of this week Fri 15th November.
Our Class Play is coming up on Wed & Thu 4th/5th – times to be advised closer to the date.
Warm regards, Anne.
